We have some forms that need to be updated multiple times after they've been submitted. We'd like to be able to leave forms "open" so they can be edited after the original submission.

We are currently working on that feature for Version 7. When designing a process, you will be able to flag a form as “persistent” so that it is available for editing throughout the entire process or for a certain section of the process with complete audit history. You will be able to access the form at any time to view or edit the record. If desired, changes to the record can initiate new tasks.
Version 7 is currently scheduled for Fall of 2016.
